Saratoga Revolutionary Rum Daiquiri

Enter the Saratoga Revolutionary Rum Daiquiri – a concoction that celebrates tradition, class, and the artistry of rum-making.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces of Saratoga Revolutionary Rum
  • 3/4 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce of simple syrup
  • Lime wheel, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Begin by chilling your cocktail glass. You can place it in the freezer or fill it with ice water while you prepare the drink.
  2. In a shaker filled with ice, pour in the Saratoga Revolutionary Rum.

Cooperstown Distillery Recognized with Gold Medal by The Fifty Best

Cooperstown Select American Blended Whiskey wins Gold Medal from The Fifty Best

Cooperstown, N.Y. – Cooperstown Distillery has been awarded the highest honor with a gold medal from The Fifty Best for the Cooperstown Select American Blended Whiskey in the American Blended Whiskey category. The Fifty Best is a digital platform that conducts unbiased reviews of a wide range of food, wines, and spirits. For the American Blended Whiskey gold medals, a blind taste test was conducted by a panel of ten judges. The American Blended Whiskeys were scored on a 5 point scale, with 5 as the highest possible score, and the highest scoring whiskeys were awarded with gold medals at the judges’ discretion.

The panel described the Cooperstown Select American Blended Whiskey as having an aroma of nougat, dough, corn, rye, cinnamon bark, black pepper, moonshine mash, leather, and oak. On the palate, the judges’ palates identified notes of caramel, nougat, cream, vanilla, black pepper, leather, and cherry wood. Finally, on the finish, the judges identified apricot, lemon, grain, clove, black tea, new wood, and oak. It was described as a balanced American Blended Whiskey. 

The Cooperstown Select American Blended Whiskey is made entirely from local New York State grains and patiently aged in hand-picked oak barrels. Made of nothing but 100% American whiskey, it is subtly matured and expertly blended to perfection. It is finished with French Oak, which conveys a very soft and graceful whiskey.
