This bourbon is a handcrafted blend of young and older, more complex bourbons. These two distinctive styles were hand-selected and chosen for their individual character and flavor profile. The blend adds a degree of softness on the palate while creating layers of depth and complexity. This bourbon finishes on the palate with caramel and butterscotch, rounded out with a layer of sweet toffee.
Canton Distillery (Brand) Bourbon Smash
Our distiller decided to bump the proof on this fine young bourbon to 90 proof in order to accentuate the finish notes on this thoroughly enjoyable spirit. Housed in a uniquely designed and patented football decanter, each bottle is individually blown and formed in the shape of a professional football, right down to the laces on the glass ball. Every bottle includes a pigskin replica stopper and sits on a raised pedestal base (all one molded piece) which is a quintessential depiction of an actual football field, complete with the yard lines and end zones. The perfect holiday or special occasion gift for the gridiron fan in all of us. This decanter was recently awarded Double Gold Medals for packaging design and innovation at the John Barleycorn Awards Competition.
