This 100% New York State Straight Rye Whiskey is produced from local grains with a high rye mash bill of 80% rye and 20% corn. This straight rye whiskey is aged in new charred oak barrels and placed in hand-selected Cabernet Sauvignon barrels to finish. A textbook rye with strong notes of black pepper, caraway, and pumpernickel on the front end, it finishes with notes of dark rye bread and pumpernickel.
